Washington DC - Congressman John Curtis has been in office just over one hundred days and already his first bill the Endangered Fish Recovery Programs Extension Act has passed the House of Representatives 329-6.  The bill has been endorsed by more than 20 diverse stakeholders, including state governments, water conservancy districts, Indian Tribes, and conservation organizations.

Utah Republican Rep. John Curtis has only been in Congress four months, but already one of his bills is poised to become law.

The House today will vote on legislation the former mayor of Provo, Utah, introduced late last year to help save four species of endangered fish out West (E&E Daily, Dec. 4, 2017).
