Congress passed $8 billion in emergency funding, which was signed into law by President Trump, to combat coronavirus. This funding package will help speed the development of vaccines, bolster access to testing and treatments, and expand access to telemedicine services.
We passed a second emergency relief package which authorizes $1 billion in 2020 for emergency administration grants to states for processing and paying unemployment insurance (UI) benefits, under certain conditions.
